Yesterday was a beautiful day, both because of the weather and because I got to go to a fantastic book signing!
As part of the Spring Into the Future tour, authors Anna Carey, Tahereh Mafi, and Veronica Rossi had their NYC event at Books of Wonder, also accompanied by local author Lauren Oliver. This panel was moderated by the lovely Sabrina Rojas Weiss, who is the senior editor of VH1’s TheFabLife.com.

Each author chatted about and read from her newest book before answering some great questions from both Sabrina and members of the audience. Then it was time for everyone to get their books signed!
Needless to say, there were a ton of people eager to get their books signed! As I didn't have any books of my own to get signed, I mostly hung around chatting with my blogger friends Genna from Reading, Writing, and the World of Words, Mitali from Teen Author Carnival, Rachel from Bookshelf Lust, and Britta from I Like These Books, as well as my favorite Books of Wonder people, Adam and Kaila. After a while, I decided to tag along with Genna while she got her books signed, acting as her unofficial photographer. As a result, I got to talk to Tahereh Mafi (and learned how to correctly pronounce her name and snagged a pretty snazzy Shatter Me keychain) and Anna Carey (who somehow recognized me as a blogger who participated in her blog tour for Eve!).
In all, it was quite a lovely day!
