Reviews are guaranteed to be honest, not positive. This means that I try to point out both the good and bad parts of each novel, what worked for it and what didn't. For extremely negative reviews (rated 2.0 or less), I try to point out at least something positive or recommend the novel to readers who liked a similar novel.
All books reviewed are free review copies provided by the publisher, author, agent, or a reviewing program (this will be further detailed at the foot of each review post) unless otherwise specified as follows:
- personal collection: the book was bought, traded for, or given to me
- library: the book was borrowed from a public library
- borrowed: the book was temporarily lent to me by another book reviewer or a personal friend
