(1) Caragh O'Brien came in third place in a state fencing competition.
(2) Leigh Bardugo almost died from being dared to eat an entire calla lily when she was 7.
(3) Gennifer Albin is afraid of going down escalators, especially with luggage.

It was the factoid about Leigh! She did not eat an entire calla lily and almost die, specifically when she was 7 years old. I was rather surprised by how many of you doubted Caragh's brief fencing background or Gennifer's fear of escalators. I think this just goes to show what good storytellers these ladies are...
